The increase in the number of accidents in Russia was explained by sanctions

Russia recorded an increase in the number of cars imported from Japan and Asian countries. The main volume is Toyota, Mazda, Nissan, Honda, Subaru, Suzuki. Moreover, many of the models have a right-hand drive. According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the number of accidents with such cars is more than 11 percent of the total number of registered accidents. At the same time, the transport risk of these cars turned out to be twice as high as that of left-hand drive cars.
