This new Chery crossover “eats” only 1.3 liters per hundred

And its sales have already begun in Russia – it is delivered to us officially.
Chery dealers can already order the new Tiggo 8 Pro e + crossover. This is a very interesting version of the car, and the secret lies in the clarification “e+”.
When buying a car, the owner will also receive a car battery charging station with a certificate for its installation – specialists will mount it in a place indicated by the owner of Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e+.
The platform on which the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e + is built was developed jointly with Jaguar Land Rover engineers, and it is called T1X.
The design provides for the installation of a battery hybrid installation of a crossover under the floor. Due to this, the car becomes more stable in turns. In addition, thanks to this solution, the spaciousness of the interior and trunk of the car does not suffer.
Even in the seven-seat version with the third row of seats unfolded, the trunk volume of the Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e + reaches almost 200 liters. In the five-seat version, the trunk volume is almost 900 liters. With all but the front seats folded down, cargo space expands to 1,930 litres.
The length of Chery Tiggo 8 Pro e + is 4722 mm, and the width and height are 1860 and 1705 mm, respectively. The wheelbase reaches 2710 mm.
As for the hybrid power plant, it is based on a 1.5-liter gasoline engine and two electric motors. Total power – 235 hp
There are 9 driving modes, including those that provide for recuperation – charging the battery when braking. Modes are selected automatically by the car’s electronics – all in order to increase the range and reduce fuel consumption.
As a result of a charged battery and a full tank, the crossover will last for 1000 km. In some cases, fuel consumption can be 1.3 liters per 100 kilometers or even less.
