Toyota has confirmed the development of a sports car: it will be shown until 2026

During the presentation of the show car at the end of 2021, it was reported that this is the harbinger of the “next generation electric sports car that will inherit the DNA of the iconic LFA.” It is expected that the production-ready sports car will receive a twin-engine electric installation, be able to drive on a single battery charge “more than 700 kilometers” and acquire an imitation of a manual transmission.

The serial Electrified Sport will be based on a new platform, and the body will be made of carbon fiber. The novelty is tipped to return the installation at the level of 700 horsepower and acceleration from standstill to “hundreds” in two seconds.
