THREE LIGHTERS – A few weeks ago the Wolfsburg house presented the new one Volkswagen ID.7, an electric sedan almost 5 meters long that stands out for its aerodynamic bodywork and new generation engine. Just like the ID.4 and ID.5, the ID.7 will also have its sports version GTX twin engine, which will be presented in September 2023 at the Monaco Motor Show.
FOR NOW ONLY DETAILS – To arouse curiosity, the German manufacturer has released some preliminary images of the new one Volkswagen ID.7 GTX, which reveal some details of the aesthetics. The headlights and taillights will have a specific design of the interior lights, there will also be a contrasting roof (standard), tinted windows and various black details. Internally we find details such as the red GTX contrast stitching on the seats, dashboard and door panels.

TWO WELL MANAGED ENGINES – Under the representative sedan bodywork, the Volkswagen ID.7 GTX hides the well-known MEB platform, equipped with two engines (front and rear) managed by the Vehicle Dynamics Manager, the “brain” responsible for the intelligent control of the four-wheel drive, able to ensure the optimal combination of efficiency, dynamics and stability according to driving conditions, acting simultaneously on engines, control systems, braking, steering and chassis. The set-up will be lowered and the steering optimized to give a quicker response.
IT WILL BE THE MOST POWERFUL – The technical specifications of the have not been disclosed Volkswagen ID.7 GTXhowever, it seems foreseeable that it will become the most powerful electric of the German company, given that the single-engine ID.7 already has 286 HP, a power close to that of the ID.4 and ID.5 GTX, which have a double engine and 299 hp.
