The design of the EX30 is highly recycled: 25 percent aluminum, 17 percent steel and the same amount of plastic are recycled. The same goes for the interior. For example, the flooring is made from recycled polyethylene terephthalate (mostly bottles), the front panel elements are from recycled plastic, and the decorative inserts are from old jeans.
A total of four interior themes are available (Breeze, Indigo, Mist and Pine), each with its own special combination of recycled and renewable materials.

The media system in the EX30 supports all major Google services, as well as wireless Apple CarPlay, 5G connectivity and over-the-air updates. The diagonal of the central display is 12.3 inches, and it also takes over the functions of the tidy.
Other features include a windshield-mounted soundbar speaker, a centrally located glove box, smartphone pockets in the backs of the front seats, and a size scale on the tailgate that tells you whether, say, an Ikea nightstand will fit in there or not.

The ambient interior lighting in the EX30 changes five themes inspired by Scandinavian landscapes. There is an imitation of sunlight falling through the foliage; sunset on the west coast of Sweden; northern lights; golden midsummer sky and city sunset.
For the first time, the range of electronic assistants includes a safe door opening function that recognizes cyclists. For a surcharge on the crossover, it will be possible to install the next-generation Pilot Assist semi-automatic pilot and Park Pilot car parking.

Reception of orders for conventional crossovers will open today. Production of the EX30 will begin before the end of this year, but deliveries will have to wait until next year.
