VW Polo: a special edition for 25 years

QUARTER OF CENTURY – In 1998, exactly 25 years ago, Volkswagen added the GTI version to the range for the first time Volkswagen Polo. To celebrate this anniversary, the German brand is launching a special edition, the Polo GTI Edition 25based on the current 207 HP Polo GTI. The special edition will be limited to 2,500 specimens and will be available for order in Germany from 1 June at a price of 35,205 euros. Prices and availability in Italy are not yet known.

On the sill panel trim, the “One of 2500” logo will remind you of the exclusivity of the model.

A BIT OF HISTORY – Although the Volkswagen Polo was launched in 1979, the popular model had to wait almost twenty years and three generations before seeing its premiere GTI sports version: 3,000 units were sold, sold out in a short time after the announcement.
