We went through the dealers: we are looking for and finding cheap new cars

The Koreans were generally upset: the popular Kia Rio – both in the four- and five-door version of the Rio X – was completely gone from dealers. There are no subcompact inexpensive Picantos either. The minimum that you can count on in the Kia salon is a Cerato sedan with a manual transmission at a price of 2.4 million. And if you add 100-200 thousand, then the Ceed hatchback will also be affordable.

For sister Hyundai, the situation is still slightly better: you can still buy Solaris. And this is the only available model of those that previously proudly represented the class of affordable foreign cars in demand. The news that dealers sold out all Volkswagen Polo and Skoda Rapid turned out to be, alas, true. At least that rather big metropolitan dealer that we visited did not have them.
